2013 Nissan Juke Nismo Review Specs Price Pictures

2013 Nissan Juke Nismo Review, Specs, Price, Pictures1

2013 Nissan Juke Nismo Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine. - Nissan is reportedly working toward turning its Nismo arm into a legitimate sub brand. According to neocarblog.com, the Japanese automaker plans to pattern its performance wing after Mercedes Benzs AMG, which means that moving forward, every vehicle with a Nismo badge will also pack a sizable jump in performance. Engineers will work to sharpen the suspension and brakes while offering more horsepower and revised aesthetics. In addition, Nissan will seek to burnish Nismos credibility and visibility by putting forth bigger efforts in various motorsports series.

Straight from the Cross Promotion 101 handbook comes this one off project car from Nissan and Warner Bros, celebrating the UK release of Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster movie, "The Dark Knight Rises" on DVD and Blu-Ray. As only Nissan can, the Japanese automaker decided to build a one off Juke Nismo crossover solely to promote the new DVD and Blu Ray. Appropriately enough, the crossover is called The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo.

The Nissan Juke Nismo represents two exciting firsts for Nissan. Not only is it the first in Europe in a series of Nismo (NISsan MOtorsport) production models, it also marks the arrival of the first accessible performance variant of the best selling UK built compact crossover.

Having pioneered the compact crossover sector with the launch of the Juke in 2010, Nissan is breaking more new ground with the Nismo version. Previously shown as a concept at the Tokyo and Geneva international Motor Shows, the production version of the Nissan Juke Nismo features the same DNA that runs through Nissans most successful competition cars. From the classic Skyline racers of the late 1980s to Super GT in Japanese racing and the all conquering GT-R GT1 in the world series, Nismo-built cars have become synonymous with innovative engineering, agility, excitement and race winning dynamics.

Interior & Exterior :
The crossover features plenty of Batman inspired details, something that you should expect from a car promoting The Caped Crusader. Matte black paint was used to give the Juke Nismo a Batmobile like appearance. A shark fin antenna was also installed in lieu of the traditional set up on the Juke, and aluminum bat badges have been plastered in various parts of the Juke Nismo, including the front grille and the tailgate. Rounding out the exterior modifications is a set of 18 inch gloss black alloy wheels with red detailing.

The Juke Nismo will be the first of several new Nismo offerings, designed to grow Nissan’s performance brand beyond just factory tuned Nissan 370Z models and parts. We promise to keep an open mind about the Juke Nismo, but we can’t wait to see what else Nissan’s in house tuning arm has in store for future products.

As for the Juke Nismo, it stands out from the rest of the Juke herd by its unique aero package, which borrows inspiration from the insanely fast Nissan Juke-R. The 19 inch wheels and widened track should let other drivers know that yours is no standard grocery getting compact crossover.

Performance :
Based on the new Nissan Juke Nismo, which goes on sale in the UK in January 2013, The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo features the same 200PS (197 horsepower) 1.6 liter turbocharged engine driving the front wheels via a six speed manual gearbox, giving it a 0 to 62mph (0 to 100 km/h) time of 7.8 seconds. It also gets a Nismo body kit and upgraded suspension.

As a premium performance model, Nissan Juke Nismo comes with a wealth of standard equipment that is either not available in competitors or offered as extra cost options. The acclaimed Nissan Connect touch screen satellite navigation system complete with rear view camera and Bluetooth connectivity is standard, while the Nismo also benefits from the Nissan Dynamic Control System (NDCS). This central command and display module allows the driver to alter dynamic drive settings as well as make changes to functions such as climate control. The display, meanwhile, shows engine and drive related dials and information.

Powering the Nissan Juke Nismo is a tuned version of the 1.6 litre, direct injection turbocharged petrol engine fitted to the current DiG T model. Sharing the same philosophy as the 1.6 litre turbocharged engine fitted to Nissans radical DeltaWing Le Mans race car, it develops 200PS at 6,000rpm and 250Nm between 2,400 - 4,800rpm.

Dodge Ram 2013 Review Price Interior Exterior Engine

Dodge Ram 2013 Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine
Dodge Ram 2013 Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine
Dodge Ram 2013.
Dodge Ram 2013 Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine - Over the past couple of model years, a number of mainstream vehicles have become not just more fuel-efficient but also more sophisticated, tech-savvy, and comfortable. And dont you think that full-size pickups are getting left behind; now for 2013, Chrysler has given its mainstream line of Ram 1500 trucks some serious upgrades, even though from the outside, theres not much change in evidence.

A 20-percent improvement in fuel economy might sound staggering, but thats what the 2013 Ram 1500 delivers along with a new V-6 engine, a new eight-speed automatic transmission, a new air suspension, and a more carlike interior, with Chryslers latest Uconnect Touch interface and much-improved materials and trims. And all of these improvements come with towing and hauling ability thats somewhat reduced on V-8 models for now, but boosted on the base six-cylinder trucks.

Chrysler calls the Ram 1500 “the most recognizable pickup on the road,” and we fully agree. Over the years, its scaled-down big-rig look makes it easy to spot from a distance. All that said, on the outside theres not all that much to distinguish the 2013 model from the 2012 unless youre already a Ram or Dodge fan. Designers have made the front grille slightly taller, and added a new upper fascia panel, while the Ram crosshair grille is now flush. New vertically oriented foglamps have been added, while 4WD models get larger openings for the tow hooks. Headlamps also get a new design, with a twin-beam projector design plus LEDs now used in the running lamps, turn signals, side-marker lamps, and tail lamps. Polished stainless steel running boards have been added down below, and a new 6 4” bed option is offered in Crew Cab models. And there are five new exterior hues, including some two tone themes.

Dodge Ram 2013 Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine1

The big news for the 2013 Ram surrounds fuel economy and includes some major powertrain revisions and additional tech. At the low end, Chrysler’s Pentastar V-6 now handles base-engine duties for the 1500 SLT. (The ancient, 310-hp 4.7-liter SOHC V-8 is the base engine for the entry-level 1500 Tradesman; the V-6 is available as an option.) Compared with last year’s 215-hp, 3.7-liter lump of a V-6, the new engine makes 90 more hp and 34 additional lb-ft of torque for new totals of 305 and 269. The Pentastar comes mated exclusively to an equally new, ZF-designed eight-speed automatic transmission Ram has dubbed with some historical pomp the “TorqueFlite 8.” The 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 carries over for 2013, but nets an additional five hp for a new total of 395. Both V-8s hook up to a standard six-speed automatic, but the Hemi will receive a version of the eight-speed as an option sometime early next year.

Next is a new, four-corner air suspension, adapted from the one available on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has five ride-height settings: Normal, Aero, Off-Road 1, Off-Road 2, and Park. The Aero setting kicks in automatically at speed, lowering the truck 1.1 inches from Normal. Off-Road 1 raises the truck 1.2 inches, and Off-Road 2 brings a full 2.0-inch rise over the baseline Normal position. Park mode lowers the ride height 2.0 inches below Normal, giving occupants a lower step-in height and also providing easier access to the bed. Any of the five ride-height settings can be manually selected via dash mounted buttons or the key fob from outside the vehicle. The air suspenders also perform load-leveling tricks, helping to maintain a steady ride height front and rear even when the truck is loaded up with cargo or a trailer. Ram does not yet know which 1500 models will be available with the grille shutters, stop-start system, or the air suspension; the features’ availability will be determined closer to the 2013 Ram’s on sale date.

Dodge Ram 2013 Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine2

Dodge Ram 2013 Interior :
Interior enhancements include soft trim on the armrest with leather decor inserts on top models, and an upgrade to an 8.4-inch full-color control screen in the center stack and a 7.0-inch one in the instrument cluster. Eight-speed models get a rotary E-shift gear selector on the center console, with range-select buttons (to limit the top gear ratio) on the steering wheel. UConnect is upgraded to accept downloadable apps and to provide a mobile WiFi Hotspot via embedded cellular technology. The integrated trailer-brake controller moves over to the center stack, where its easier to see and reach, and now includes programming to better interface with the latest electro/hydraulic brake systems used on the biggest trailers.

The extent to which the Ram has been revised after four years on the market indicates the market significance and level of competition in the full-sized pickup segment. Based on this first look, the Ram should be a strong contender for our 2013 Truck of the Year honors next February.

Dodge Ram 2013 Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine4

Dodge Ram 2013 POWERTRAIN :
Major changes under the hood of the new 2013 Ram 1500 will help deliver best in class fuel economy and substantial increases in power and performance with the Chrysler Groups award-winning Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine coupled with the first use of an eight-speed TorqueFlite 8 transmission in a pickup truck.

The 5.7-liter HEMI® also will benefit with the first use of an eight-speed automatic transmission. The new, TorqueFlite 8 is available with the V-8 engine and features a higher capacity torque converter and is scheduled for availability in late 2012.

"The coupling of our legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 and Wards 10-best, 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 to a new eight-speed automatic transmission led the way to best-in-class fuel economy for the 2013 Ram 1500," said Bob Lee, Vice President, Powertrain and Electrified Propulsion Systems Engineering Chrysler Group LLC. "Although the addition of a new eight-speed achieved double digit percentage gains in fuel economy, we also added a number of segment exclusive technologies such as thermal management, stop-start and active grille shutters to further improve efficiency."

Best in class V-6 Fuel Economy Pentastar V-6 Engine :

With best in class standard horsepower rated at 305 at 6,400 rpm and torque of 269 lb.-ft. at 4,175 rpm, the 2013 Ram 1500 goes from zero to 60mph, three seconds faster than the previous V-6 powertrain. The new Ram 1500 becomes the latest vehicle to benefit from the advanced technology Pentastar engine. Features include Dual Overhead Camshafts (DOHC), high-torque over a broad rpm range, low exhaust emissions, E85 capability, exceptional fuel economy, and best-in-class noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). Introduced less than two years ago, the new V-6 engine has become the workhorse engine across the Chrysler lineup and has replaced seven previous V-6 engines. The Pentastar won Wards 10 Best Engines award in its debut year of 2011 and repeated this honor in 2012.

Dodge Ram 2013 Exterior :
The front air dam of the 2013 Ram 1500 has been extended downward to create a 0.6 percent improvement in fuel economy. Engineers used a new thermo plastic material, which is much more malleable, preventing breakage due to contact with curbs, rocks or other objects. A new wheel to wheel tubular side-step design offers aerodynamic improvements over the current version by allowing air to pass around the truck more smoothly. The improvement adds 0.5 percent to fuel efficiency and allows customers easy access to the forward portion of the truck bed. Source: neocarsuv.com, autocarrelease.com.

2013 Honda Brio Amaze Review Specs Price Pictures

Posted by raffis on 7:24 PM
2013 Honda Brio Amaze Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine

2013 Honda Brio Amaze Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine. - The 2013 Honda Brio Amaze, a funky new four-door sedan, has launched but its aimed at buyers in Thailand, not the U.S. Released late last week in Thailand, the imaginatively named Amaze is a three box spin off from the Brio, Hondas small signature five door hatchback thats made in both Thailand and India.

Honda has reconfigured the sheet metal to create this Brio with a trunk, which also gets its own custom suspension settings and stands roughly the same size as a U.S. market Honda Fit. Power comes from Hondas successful 1.2-litre i-VTEC four cylinder engine, which is good for 90 horsepower in this tune. Price spans 450,000 - 21,000 baht (some $14,645 to $16,956) but for Thai buyers signing up for the Amaze as their first car, theres a 73,000 baht ($2,375) rebate.

2013 Honda Brio Amaze Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine1

The exterior styling is sleek with distinctive character lines from front to rear, enhanced by a sporty chrome grille and bumpers in the same color as the body. The newly-designed tail lamps are complemented by chrome accents for a sleeker look. Powered by a 1.2 liter, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 90-horsepower SOHC i-VTEC engine, the new Brio Amaze offers fuel consumption of 5 liter on every 100 km.

AutocarIndia Editor Hormazd Sorabjee tweets, “Just drove Honda Amaze – its truly amazing! 1.5 diesel incredibly responsive & refined. Rear seat shocking spacious. Honda’s back and how!...” It may be noted that the 1.5 litre Earth Dreams iDTEC diesel engine on duty in the Honda Brio Amaze is closely related to the highly publicized 1.6 litre i-DTEC motor from the car maker. Also, the smaller oil burner was developed along with the bigger sibling. The new motor is Euro 4 compliant.

Honda has refrained from revealing the power figures but we do have come to know that the max. torque output is pegged at 200Nm and the engine is mated to a five speed manual gearbox. This means that the Honda 1.5 iDTEC has only marginally more torque than the 1300cc Fiat Mulitjet that powers many cars in India. The Honda Brio Amaze tips the scales at 1,050kgs.

2013 Honda Brio Amaze Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine2

The Amaze will be available with a petrol engine as well. No prizes for guessing which engine will be propelling it though. Yep, the 1.2 liter i-VTEC with 90PS and 110Nm currently powering the Jazz and the Brio. The engines will initially be mated to a 5-speed manual tranbsmission, with auto options following at a later date. Like the Brio hatchback, the Brio Amaze compact sedan too will be available in auto variant. It will  be the same 5 speed automatic transmission that does duty on the Brio Auto hatchback. As is being reported, the motor has been well tuned and doesn’t really suffers from turbo lag. However, it has also emerged that Honda needs to work a bit on the NVH levels.

Specifications :
- Engine Displacement : 1.5 Litres
- Forced Induction : YES, Fixed Geometry Turbocharger
- Max Power : 90 PS (estimated)
- Max Torque : 200 Nm
- Transmission : 5 Speed Manual/ 5 Speed Auto for Petrol
- Kerb Weight : 1050 Kgs
- Color Options : White, Silver, Wine Red, Grey, Violet

2013 Ford C Max Hybrid Review Specs Pictures

Posted by raffis on 9:28 AM
2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine. - In Europe, Ford sells the C-Max it’s basically a tall wagon version of the Ford Focus with a choice of two gasoline engines and two diesels. But Ford wants Americans to associate the C-Max exclusively with hybrid technology, so the C-Max will come to these shores only as a hybrid, with fuel economy ratings of 47 mpg in the city and 47 mpg on the highway. Senior engineer John Davis says it’s about building a brand, similar to what Toyota has with Prius (recall that three cars are sold under the Prius name: the familiar Prius hatchback, the wagonlike Prius V, and the compact Prius C.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid started its debut in 2012 International Auto Show held in North America. 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid release date later this year, other than that this car also brings a lot of choices available to consumers, versatility and style for high-mileage family-friendly vehicles environment. The manufacturer Ford also revealed that the Ford C-Max Hybrid, a car that was able to reveal two generations of hybrid vehicles including its first production plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are a precursor to this hybrid car. Besides Ford C-MAX Hybrid is also a family car that can maximize the experience of hybrid cars.

The C-Max’s base pricing is aggressive; the SE starts at $25,995. The trimmed-up SEL with leather, keyless start, and the MyFord Touch system leaves the blocks at $28,995. Those prices slot the C-Max between the base Prius and Prius V in an apparent strategy to divide and conquer. Stand-alone options include a bunch of entertainment and convenience packages ranging from $570 to $3080 the latter of which is available only on the SEL and includes a hands-free, motorized liftgate; active parking; a rear camera; and a nine speaker Sony audio system an $1195 panoramic glass roof, and a few special colors. Go heavy on the C-Max order sheet, and you can get the price up past $33,000.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine

The C-Max doesnt quite say "hybrid" as strongly as the spacey Prius, at least from the outside. Its more in line with the "kinetic design" look of Fords Focus family than anything else, which is logical, since its a part of that broad ranging lineup of cars. Inside, the C-Max gets the better of the Prius, though, with a stylish dash and a richer look that fits more high-end options than youll find in the Prius.

It doesnt quite reach the 50 mpg heights of the Prius lineup, but the 47-mpg EPA rating earned by the 2013 C-Max applies across the board city, highway, and combined, which betters the Prius V wagon. And on the road, the compromise on fuel economy pays off, clearly: the C-Maxs performance is plainly better than the Prius, in acceleration and in cornering. With a net 54 hp more than the Prius, the C-Max is less stressed under full acceleration, and while its still no Focus, the C-Max turns in more crisply and feels more eager to drive than any Prius ever has and thats despite its 3,600 pound curb weight and tall, tall roofline.

2013 Subaru Outback Review Specs Price Pictures

Posted by raffis on 9:16 AM
2013 Subaru Outback Review, Specs, Price, Pictures1

2013 Subaru Outback Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine. -   2013 Subaru Outback is  ranks 1 out of 5 Affordable Wagons. This ranking is based on our analysis of 19 published reviews and test drives of the Subaru Outback, and our analysis of reliability and safety data. Reviewers say the 2013 Subaru Outback successfully combines the utility of an SUV with the drivability of a car, making it one of the best wagons in the class.

The Outback sits squarely in the mid size crossover utllity class, exactly halfway between a car based wagon and a sport utility vehicle. But for its hundreds of thousands of owners, it’s in a class of one, as virtually the only crossover of its size and price to come with all wheel drive standard on every model. It competes with five seat crossovers like the Volvo XC60 and Toyota Venza, along with the least expensive models of the brawnier (but less accommodating) Jeep Grand Cherokee.

2013 Subaru Outback features a restyled front end, a more efficient four-cylinder engine, an updated continuously variable transmission (CVT) and revised suspension tuning. New features include keyless ignition / entry and newly available adaptive cruise control with a collision avoidance system.

Even if the 2013 Subaru Outback never spent a second in the Australian expanse that inspired its name, it’s reassuring to know that knotty, rutted desert roads pose minimal challenge for Subaru’s crossover wagon. With 8.7 inches of ground clearance and standard all wheel drive, the Outback is a rugged adventure vehicle that can negotiate dirt roads and snowed-in streets with confidence, even if rugged off roading is out of the question.

2013 Subaru Outback Review, Specs, Price, Pictures2

Price :
For the Price of 2013 Subaru Outback has been set at $24,495 – $32,095 based on current exchange rates. If there are changes on the 2013 Subaru Outback we will notify you as soon as possible, so keep follow our blog.

Pricing isn’t yet available it will be announced just before the 2013s arrive this summer but we don’t expect it to deviate much from that of the current cars. (The 2012 Legacy and Outback start at $20,745 and $24,070).

2013 Subaru Outback Review, Specs, Price, Pictures3

Interior :
Now, The base 2.5i 2013 Subaru Outback has standard Bluetooth phone connectivity and wireless music streaming through the standard four speaker stereo. It also features a USB port and iPod connectivity, and steering wheel phone and stereo controls. Trading up to the Limited model adds an optional seven inch touch screen navigation system with a four month free trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio. Limited models also have voice controls for stereo, phone and navigation, a rearview camera and a Harmon Kardon premium stereo.

One interior feature that received a lot of reviewer attention is the optional Subaru EyeSight system. EyeSight uses cameras mounted on the windshield to track the Outback’s movements. If it detects that the Outback is veering out of its lane, it warns the driver. Similarly, if it detects a possible collision at low speeds, it will apply the brakes.

2013 Subaru Outback Review, Specs, Price, Pictures4

Exterior :
For the Exterior of 2013 Subaru Outback, its almost every reviewer loves how comfortable and roomy the back seat in the 2013 Subaru Outback is, with most agreeing that the Outback can comfortably handle five adults. That’s not only a rare thing for a wagon, but also for an SUV. In addition to having lots of legroom, the back seat in the 2013 Outback also reclines. The front seats also get good reviews for comfort and space.

This year, Subaru’s partnership with Toyota begins to pay off in the form of new safety technology and options. The newest is a stereo camera system called EyeSight, which also bows in an upgraded form in the 2013 Lexus LS. In the Outback, the driver assistance system is centered around those windshield mounted cameras, which detect potential obstacles on the road ahead. The data is fed to a bundle of systems, including adaptive cruise control, vehicle lane departure warning, and pre collision braking.

Performance :
Engine of 2013 Subaru Outback, 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i models have a 173 horsepower 2.5 liter four cylinder engine. The standard transmission is a six speed manual, but a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which drives like an automatic, is optional. The 3.6R models have a 256 horespower 3.6 liter six cylinder boxer engine that’s paired with a five speed automatic. Going for the 2.5i model with the CVT gets you the best fuel economy at an EPA estimated 24/30 mpg city/highway. The 3.6R models get 18/25 mpg city/highway.

2013 Acura ILX Review Price Release Date Engine

Posted by raffis on 5:12 PM
2013 Acura ILX Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine, Release Date.
2013 Acura ILX Review, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine, Release Date. - The 2013 Acura ILX ranks 10 out of 10 Upscale Small Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 13 published reviews and test drives of the Acura ILX, and our analysis of reliability and safety data. The 2013 Acura ILX is stocked with standard features and offers several engine choices. Still, reviewers think the all-new compact sedan blends into the crowd because competitors have better performance, gas mileage and cargo space.

The new 2013 Acura ILX is the smallest sedan in Acura’s lineup. Reviewers say that the base engine is solid for everyday driving, but recommend the more powerful four-cylinder engine that’s paired to a manual transmission for shoppers who prioritize performance. If green driving is important to you, the hybrid model trades power for fuel economy.

Regardless of the powertrain you select, there’s no need to upgrade to a higher trim for features like Bluetooth, a USB port and voice text messaging because all of these are standard on the ILX. Though it’s well stocked, the ILX doesn’t have the most cabin space. The rear seats will be tight for tall passengers, but this is common among compact cars. The ILX’s trunk space is respectable, but other sedans in the class have more cargo room.

Acura has had a hard time building and maintaining a brand identity over the past decade. Itself unsure of whether it should strive for "Tier 1" luxury status or position itself as a near luxury, high tech brand for up and coming professionals and hip retirees, its product has reflected this lack of direction. The 2013 ILX continues this confusion, especially in light of the coming reborn NSX, but its worth evaluating the smallest Acura sedan on its own merits.

The 2013 Acura ILX is based on the Honda Civic, but its slightly longer and wider, and has unique styling that sets it pretty far apart from its Honda relative. Most importantly, there are significant engineering and interior enhancements. Dismissing the ILX as just a Civic in an Acura badge would be unfair.

2013 Acura ILX Price. - Pricing for the new 2012 Acura ZDX has been set at $46,120 – $56,670 based on current exchange rates. If there are changes on the 2012 Acura ZDX we will notify you as soon as possible, so keep follow our blog.

2013 Acura ILX Interior :
2013 Acura ILX Interior. - According to the automotive press, the Acura ILX’s cabin materials are high-quality, and give the ILX an upscale feel that’s expected from a car in this class. Though the second-row seats are tight and there’s less trunk room than competitors, that’s expected of small sedans. Reviewers say the front seats are spacious with good cushioning.

Car reviewers say the ILX’s cabin is made with nice materials and looks upscale. They also like that the controls aren’t hard to use, even with the optional navigation system. Standard on the ILX are push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, voice text messaging and a six-speaker stereo with a USB port, auxiliary jack and Pandora Internet radio. There are premium and technology packages available, but to the disappointment of reviewers, the technology package is not available with the 2.4-liter engine.

The ILXs interior is impeccably well constructed, but we cant say the materials used are a step up from top non luxury sedans. Similarly, the design features Acuras typical high tech vibe, but climbing inside doesnt exactly scream "luxury!..."

Nevertheless, if youre looking for high-tech features to go along with that high-tech vibe, the ILX definitely delivers. There is a 5-inch display screen topping the center stack for the myriad infotainment functions, and smartly placed buttons and knobs to control them. A 6-inch screen comes with the navigation/upgraded audio systems. Another nice feature is that even the base ILX audio has the capability to convert SMS text messages to speech.

2013 Acura ILX Exterior :
2013 Acura ILX Exterior. - The 2013 Acura ILX entry-level luxury sedan comes in two basic trim levels: base and Hybrid. Standard equipment is pretty much the same for both and includes 16-inch wheels, a sunroof, full power accessories, keyless ignition/entry, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, dual zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, a rearview camera and a six speaker sound system with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack, a USB/iPod audio interface and Pandora integration.

Optional for the base ILX is the Premium package. It includes 17-inch wheels, xenon headlamps, foglamps, leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power driver seat, a more advanced rearview camera, active noise cancellation (Hybrid excluded) and an upgraded seven speaker sound system with satellite radio. Acura also offers the Premium package equipped ILX with the 2.4-liter engine configuration.

Inside, the ILXs cabin is simliarly youthful, at least in comparison with the competition, with cascading layers of surfaces in varied textures creating a flowing, connected feel across the dash and through the cabin. The drivers perspective is dominated by the focused, easy-to-read instrument and information display in the main panel, while the center stack is set high and forward for better eyes-up visibility.

2013 Acura ILX Engine :
2013 Acura ILX Engine. - The standard engine for the 2013 ILX is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 150 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. The only transmission offered is a five-speed automatic that sends its power to the front wheels. In Edmunds performance testing, this powertrain brought the ILX from zero to 60 mph in 9 seconds, which is average for a compact economy car. Fuel economy is pretty respectable at 24 mpg city/35 mpg highway and 28 mpg combined.

The Acura ILX has a diverse powertrain lineup. The base model has a 2.0-liter, 150-horsepower four-cylinder engine. Reviewers say that with this engine, the ILX isn’t completely uninspiring, and is good for merging and passing on the highway. One test driver is disappointed that its standard automatic transmission only has five gears, and wishes it had six, like the competition. A 2.4-liter, 201-horsepower four-cylinder engine is the next step up. It only comes with a six-speed manual transmission. More than one reviewer is impressed with its smooth clutch. If you want better fuel economy, go for the 2.0-liter model. The EPA hasn’t tested it yet, but Acura says the base model gets 24/35 mpg city/highway, while the 2.4-liter model gets 22/31 mpg.

Finally, theres the ILX Hybrid, which gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an integrated hybrid electric system routed through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Gas mileage ratings, per the EPA, are just 39 mpg city and 38 mpg highway, placing it firmly mid-pack amongst alternatives. The combined power output of 111 horsepower, however, leaves the ILX Hybrid feeling flat, and can occasionally be too little for comfort, as when merging with fast-flowing traffic. Its comfortable, but its not much fun to drive, especially with the ultra-conservative Eco mode engaged. Source: autocarrelease.com.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Review, Specs1

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Release date, Price, Interior, Exterior, Engine. - The New Beetle which preceded the current Beetle was loved by press and public alike at its introduction, and for many, the love affair continues, but in truth, neither the design nor the packaging forced on it by the architectural shape has held up over time. Thats all done with now the 2013 Beetle is both its own car and at the same time, tied solidly to its past.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Exterior :
Volkswagen combined retro and modern design cues in styling the Beetle. While the front represents an evolution of the prior generation, which was sold in the U.S. from the 1998 to the 2010 model year, the rear half draws heavily on the original Beetle with its flattened roofline and C pillars that form an arc extending to the rear bumper. Those might seem like subtle changes, but they significantly change the cars appearance.

Aiding that new sensation is the Beetles chassis, which is longer, lower and wider than its predecessor, not to mention stiffer VW officials tell us that key reinforcements have been made all over, including the A pillars and front roof crossmembers, along with the lower bodysides and between the B posts. Altogether, the changes account for a 20 percent increase in rigidity, though theres a weight penalty. As a result of those strengthening measures and the one touch power top mechanism, curb weights start at just over 3,200 pounds, representing a 220 pound increase. The result is worth it, though, at least over the LA Basins well tended roads riding on 17 inch rubber. The Beetle Convertible delivers a smooth ride with almost no perceptible cowl or steering column shake. Theres also surprisingly eager turn in thanks to the adeptly tuned front strut and rear multilink suspension and new electric power steering (the base 2.5 model sticks with hydraulic assist, but its no more or less engaging).

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Interior :
The prior generation Beetles interior aged remarkably well, but it was time for an update, and last years redesign provided it. Premium cabin materials and attention to detail result in the kind of high grade interior weve come to expect from VW. Throwback features include dual glove boxes and optional auxiliary readouts an oil temperature gauge, a clock and a boost gauge that sit atop the middle of the dashboard.

Front bucket seats and a two person backseat provide room for up to four people. Folding the split backseat expands the 10.9 cubic foot cargo area. Interior features include :
    >. Available touch-screen CD stereo and navigation.
    >. Available Fender premium stereo.
    >. Available keyless access and push button start.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Performance :
The base 170 horsepower, 2.5 liter five cylinder engine works with a five speed manual or six speed automatic transmission. The turbo 2.0 liter diesel four cylinder engine makes 140 hp while the performance oriented turbocharged 2.0 liter gas four cylinder makes 200 hp and works with a limited slip differential. Both the diesel and turbocharged gas engine team with a six speed manual or a six speed dual clutch automatic.

Of course, for the less adventuresome, VW will happily sell you a gasoline-fed Beetle Convertible motivated by its enduring 2.5 liter five cylinder with 170 horsepower and 177 pound feet of torque, or its 2.0 liter turbocharged TSI four with 200 hp and 207 lb ft. Both are reasonable alternatives the 2.5 is a lazy revver with a funky soundtrack and a standard automatic, but it makes for a perfectly serviceable (if uninspiring) cruiser, and the 2.0T delivers additional fun thanks to its added power, flatter torque curve, sport suspension and manual or dual clutch gearbox ($1,100) choices. But despite monumental dynamic improvements over their New Beetle predecessors, neither model is really likely to make an enthusiasts shopping list.
